Cooking W/Greek Yogurt : A GIVEAWAY!!-CLOSED

Back To Her RootsI had planned on combining this giveaway with another post but I found myself writing so much, it had to have its own blog real estate!

What is the prize??  One lucky reader will win a copy of Cooking With Greek Yogurt, by Cassie Johnston.

Cassie Johnston, the writer/creator/etc. behind the popular blog Back To Her Roots, released a cookbook several months ago and I am finally getting around to sharing it with all of you!  I have been a long time reader of hers and once I figured out how to actually use Pinterest, I became an avid pinner of her recipes as well!  It was kind of a no brainer when I found out she was releasing her first (and not her last!) cookbook!
Back To Her RootsCassie’s colorful personality and talent as a professional graphic designer is evident the second you crack open the cover!  I love the fact that it is a direct representation of her; an extension of the kind of honest, true, and genuine person she is!  The cookbook photography (her own) is simple and the casual, easy to read format of her recipes makes this cookbook…well…FUN to just read!  The majority of the recipes have small ingredient lists and nothing is too complicated to master.  When I found myself marking pages to cook from this week, I realized I was marking EVERY page!  I haven’t tackled the frozen yogurt section yet, but you can bet I will be making her combinations once the temperature goes above freezing and the last of the snow melts here!
Back To Her RootsThe helpful hints and easy suggestions for adaptations make it easy for just about anyone to incorporate greek yogurt into their cooking.  This is definitely a staple cookbook for healthy food that I am loving as part of my collection.  Even my kids have gotten caught up in the mouth watering photography and easy steps.  They actually squealed when they saw the recipe for Swirly Twirly Fruit & Yogurt Ice Pops, while I was drooling over the pictures of the Maple Bacon Burgers W/Sweet Dijon Sauce.
Back To Her RootsBottom line?  At a time when everyone and their brother seems to be publishing a cookbook, this one is a trusted resource you will reach for again and again.  And if you ask me, that is kind of refreshing!

So how do you get your hands on this hot tamale?
